CARE community workshops are taking place across Europe, bringing seniors and local communities together to co-create safer, more inclusive cycling environments.
On 11 January 2026, our partner Planet and Esports hosted a co-creation workshop in Bulgaria, engaging older adults, local athletes and community stakeholders in a collaborative process.
Participants worked together to identify safer cycling routes, discuss potential bike lane improvements, and co-design CARE Cafés — welcoming places to rest, connect and enjoy social interaction.
Similar workshops are already underway in Greece and Poland, and we will continue to share insights and results from each country as the activities progress.
