CARE Project Kick-off Meeting | A Warm Start in Athens

The kick-off meeting of our new Erasmus+ project, CARE, was successfully held in Athens at the Municipal Market of Kypseli, bringing together project partners from Poland, Bulgaria and Thessaloniki.

The meeting marked a warm and inspiring beginning, centred on how cycling can bring people closer, strengthen local communities and support gentle, enjoyable physical activity for people over the age of 60.

CARE explores the role of the bicycle in creating everyday moments of connection, movement and wellbeing. Through shared rides, small-scale local actions and simple mobility habits, the project aims to highlight how cycling can help older adults remain active, confident and socially engaged.

This first gathering laid the foundations for a collaborative journey towards more inclusive, social and age-friendly cycling across Europe.

Stay tuned and join our journey!
