On 5 August 2026, the partners of the CARE Project held their second online meeting to coordinate the upcoming activities planned for August and discuss the practical steps for their implementation.
During the meeting, partners discussed the planned cycling and community-based activities targeting older people, with a focus on engaging local communities and creating opportunities for social interaction through the CARE Café concept. The cooperation with local cafés and community groups was also discussed as an important element for bringing the project closer to local communities.
Particular attention was given to the practical organisation of the activities, participant safety and the documentation and visibility of the events. Partners also exchanged ideas on how to promote cycling and encourage wider community participation through local initiatives and partnerships.
The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review the preparations, clarify the next steps and ensure that the upcoming activities are well coordinated across the project.
With the August activities now underway, the CARE partners look forward to continuing their efforts to promote active ageing, cycling, social participation and stronger community connections.
Stay tuned for updates from our upcoming CARE activities!
